What's the Difference between our SportPort Community and Our DWS Career Community?

This is our very own community - SportPort was a shared space The DWS Career Community is mainly focused on supporting our women through their professional careers by educating, connecting, engaging and supporting.

Will we still have SportPort too? (PS…if you don't know what sportport is…no worries, just ignore this)

What/Who is Upstream Solutions?

Upstream Solutions is a company that supports College Coaches and College Athletic Departments in many ways Executive Coaching Facilitation Training Online Career Communities Michelyne Pinard, the Founder, is the former Women's Soccer Coach at Williams. Yup! She was my College Coach and now a mentor. And because of her incredible success (Three NCAA Championships) she is also someone I trust more than almost anyone to know what Division III College Programs need to thrive.

What's in it for me to join?

It is an incredible way to give back to our program, without writing a check. Reconnect with teammates and parents of teammates that you have fallen out of touch with. Feel good about sharing your journey and professional expertise to help the current athletes and young alums navigate theirs. It will be fun!

If I'm "just a Mom" right now or I'm not currently working, should I still join?

First - Yes!! Secondly - Being a Mom is a REAL job and your story and support of this community is going to be essential to its success, so please join. We want EVERYONE in because everyone has a story to tell that will help our players and young alums navigate their story. Our Career Community will support DWS women who left their careers to raise families, providing resources to help them re-enter the workforce if they would like to do so. It will also serve as a valuable resource for women who are considering stepping away from careers, offering guidance from those who have previously navigated this transition.

I think my Parents might be interested too? Can Parents of Alumnae join?

Yes! We are hoping that parents of alums will join us! In addition to reconnecting with the program, they also have so much professional expertise to share! Please forward them this link and have them follow the process.
